The Child-FREE Life : When Having Children doesn't make cents!

Hi everyone, I came across this interesting article through a Facebook friend. And his questions was "Would you consider the thought of having children a financial decision? why or why not?" My response was I think having children is a financial decision after you have the first one. What do you think? I would love to hear your opinions. The topic came from an article on Single Black Male website "Having kids doesn't make cents" (click here to read full article). It is a very interesting article.

Time magazine also did an article "The Child Free Life : When having it all means not having children" (click here to read full article)

My 1st Aquarium Visit

Some friends and I took Croix to Aquarium in Baltimore a few weeks ago for the first time. Our first stop was Bubba Gump's on the harbor.....OMG it was great. Croix really enjoyed his mac and cheese and all the food on everyone else's plate, lol!

Next stop the Aquarium. He was really amazed. His two favorite words throughout the whole visit was "Ewwwww" and "Whooooaaa" lol! And his cute little finger was pointing at everything. Here are a few candid moments of our trip.

This was a huge stingray.

It was feeding time in the tank. He took a break to wave to Croix.

Look at his reflection in the tank, priceless!

Dolphins.

Jellyfish.

In the sharks mouth, lol!

He was trying to reach for the monkey's. Thanks Tina for being his guard rail, lol!

It was a great trip and we had a great time. Thanks to my friend for the candid shots. Unfortunately, we don't get too many of those being that its just us. I'm always the photographer.

xoxo ;)

Pumpkin Patch Fun

We had and AMAZING DAY today!!! I took Croix to Montpelier Farms in Maryland to have some fun. We went on a hay ride, pet a few animals, had fresh hot apple cider, ate fresh kettle popcorn, ran around and picked out our pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. The weather was just right and we had a great time. This was such a great place to take kids. They had a lot of things to do for kids of all ages. They had a pumpkin painting station, you could make your own scare crow, moon bounces, even a corn maze that seems fun during the day but I'm sure at night its pretty scary. Reminded me too much of the movie Children of the Corn, so I stayed away from that feature of the farm, lol. Definitely going back next year. Check out some of our pictures.
