Merry Christmas Decor

I'm a weeee bit late in posting this but, better late then never right :) Thought I would share with you some of my Christmas Holiday Decor. Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday next to my son's birthday. This year was so fun because Croix is at that age where he can recognize things and you get responses like ...."OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH....AAAAAAAAHHHHHH....WEEEEEEEEEEE....." lol and other baby gibberish. He loved it all. We adopted on of Santa's Elf's, his name is Brother Numpsie. He brought alot of fun to our Christmas, can't wait to see what he does next year. Check out our Christmas wonderland :)

Happy Halloween Decor

Happy Halloween people! Very grateful because it almost wasn't a very happy anything. Hurricane Sandy came for a little visit and really did some damage. Luckily Croix and I are safe and no real damage was done. However, New York and New Jersey weren't so lucky. My prayers go out to all that are suffering from the storm.

On a lighter note, just wanted to share with you my Halloween Decor for our house. Its been up all month, and yes I'm just know posting it, forgive me :)

I made these centerpieces with some branches I collected from outside and paired them with these glitter swirl sticks I picked up at Michaels. It was a huge bundle for like $3. Then I filled it with that nasty candy corn, lol. I can't stand to eat it, but it sure looks pretty in my vase. I also got some halloween lights and wrapped them around the self made mantle, patio door and additional living room window.

This is our door wreath. I decorate it differently for the seasons and holidays.

Can't wait to take Croix Trick or Treating today. He is going to look so cute in his costume. More pictures to come later ;)

Operation BIG Boy Room is in FULL EFFECT!!!

Pleased to announce Croix's Big Boy Room will be Toy Story Themed. Soooooo excited about this project. I'm going to let my creativity shine through. There are going to be a lot little fun surprises. I first introduced Croix to the movie on my iPad while we were on a plane headed for Chicago. Definitely caught his interest and kept him occupied, THANK GOD! Plus I can never get tired of watching it myself, lol.

Here are a few sneak peek items I purchased. More updates to follow :)

Croix's 1st Year Sesame Street Soiree

My baby is 1!!!! I HAVE A ONE YEAR OLD!!! I can't believe it. I am so proud. Croix just lights up my life :) This was my first time planning any kind of party and I think it turned out very well. His party was held at my mothers in Chicago. This was his first of many visits back to mommy's hometown. I custom made all of his decorations and had sooooo much fun making everything. Here are a few pictures of this big day.

My bosses wife custom made his shirt for him and I ordered his shoes from Converse. I bought an inflatable kiddie pool and filled it with balls for Croix and my 1 year old nephew to have an area of there own. I think they appreciated it. I know I did because I didn't have to hold him so much, he is HEAVY!!! lol.

Later we got in the moon bounce and had some mommy son fun time :)

This moon bounce was A LOT of fun and a hit with the kids AND some of the adults. The company  I used was Giggles and  Jumps. EXCELLENT service and very reasonable prices. The owner was soooooo nice, definitely will do business with her again. Check out there website.

Custom cupcake stands and cupcake toppers courtesy of MEEEEEE :) so happy how they turned out.

Look at my baby!!!! This is one of his 1st year pictures. I had them placed in his custom frame on a few of the tables. His party decorations turned out so well. I got a lot of compliments and a few inquires about making some custom items for a few people. Hmmmmmmm did I just tap into another possible trade????? We shall see ;)

I also had a photo garland of all his pictures from birth til 12 months. It was so precious to see his growth and transformations over the year. He has grown SO much. Grown so much in fact he wears a 2T......CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!!
A one year old in a 2T......can you say FUTURE ATHLETE!!! ;) I will be his BIGGEST FAN!! :)

It was a great day Thank you to all that came and supported his Big Day :)
